Hotel Donatello

May 2024 stayed three nights, room 309. Third floor but easy to access with a lift large enough for two people , each with a carry-on bag and a backpack. Hotel staff were very helpful upon checkin. Our room was a bit unusual; two bathrooms, one with a toilet, bidet and sink (but had pipes in the wall for previous shower) and a second with a sink, toilet and tub with a shower wand attached to a wall rod but no shower curtain or splash panel. Lots of closet space and comfortable bed. We had breakfast included which offered a variety of meat/cheese, pastries, yogurt, toast, fruit, juices and coffee. Location is great for train terminal access and many of the attractions of Bologna. Some great restaurants and street entertainment made this an interesting and underrated stop in our Italian vacation. Would recommend this location to other travellers.

Okay hotel for one night stay. Room for one person was very small. Bathroom was interesting and small. Breakfast was included, but it wasn't anything special either. Location good, 10 minute walk to train station and to main street in the center.

Great location, short walk from the main square, shops, restaurants and the train station. Staff very polite and helpful. Nice breakfast. Even though the hotel is located on a busy street, the room was not noisy.

Staff in restaurant very friendly and helpful. Lakeside location. Good breakfast and excellent evening meals in restaurant. Secure on site car park. Pleasant lakeside walk into Peschiera
